I am dropping the game engie I been using for the last few games to make a brand new type of game and I deiced to just upload the unfished SkyRealm Adventures as a way for people to play what I made so far since I am done with this project but dont wanna just remove it after what work I put into it.
So I hope you call can still enjoy it.
I am starting an all new style with the tools and tricks I learned and learned how to use.
Here is what to expect.
1-Flying adventure games like Skyrealm Quest
2-New animations and sprites (Made in flash)
3-An air walk animation when walking and flying animation when dashing
4-A Mana system and the C key to recharge your mana (Mana will be ammo)
5-A death animation and check points and start points.
(I been playing Megaman games and Inti Create games like Mighty GunVolt and Azura Striker Gunvolt)
These game me ideas on how to add check points and start points and even the idea of mixed size levels.
6-Eneimes with hit points unless they are ment to die with one hit.
(I tired out many ideas and finally came up with one that works 100%)
7-Running and jumping segments.
While I do want this to be an always flying (Or swimming in water levels) I do still have a place in my heart for fast running and jumping so I will make hidden bouns levels where you are now in a run and jump section where you can run and grab crystals for big points and if I feel the place needs it I will add a one hit exit chaster to speed things up or force the player to run....Think Rayman Legends when being chased by a wall of fire once you get started but not auto so you wont get caught off guard.
After I make this system and make my 1st mini game to show this off I will not use bosses yet...Maybe a chase section but when I do make bosses I am mostly going to use the system I used in SkyRealm Quest but reduce the amount of hits a boss can do and make sure the AI is not too crazy like the boss "Virus" in stage 2.
9-New button layout
Since the last games used Z X and C for the run and jump levels, Flying had 2 shoot buttons which I tired to make a lock on shoot when in boss battles....Now the buttons will be Z for attack X for Dash and C for chrage.
10-(PC games only not flash version) Parallex scrolling....THANK GOD...This saves me A LOT OF TIME
11-Better sound effects.
I am going to use less annoying sound effects when shooting and add some vocals for PrincessLuna and maybe a boss when defeated and make sure the sfx audio is not over doing the music.
Ideas for later...
NeoLuna (Used in many of my animations)
Much like Super Sonic the hedgehog there is a super state for Luna....I will make the data but I may not have a use for it anytime soon but I think I can use it for a final boss or something.
I have other chars and may make them playable and even give them other attack patterns or even a melee fighter...
This one is all in the air for now but it can happen and its something I want to do later.
So this is the last game using this engine and I had planned to use this info to start off this year with a NEW style but I went to update my Sicrria arcade accoutn but that went a bit weird so I am back here a bit earlier than expected but out with the old and in with the new.
